Indiana Max


The Indiana Max program helps make a º£½ÇÖ±²¥ education more affordable for qualifying Indiana students. Eligible students can have $0 out-of-pocket costs for tuition and fees, with additional assistance available to help cover the cost of living on campus.*

To qualify for the Indiana Max program, students must:

  • Apply to and be admitted to º£½ÇÖ±²¥.
  • Complete the (FAFSA).
  • Qualify for the maximum available Federal and Indiana need-based financial aid.

*The financial aid package will include Federal Direct Student loans, Federal and State Grants, Holy Cross Assistance Grant, and/or merit scholarships.

Scholarship Program Details

Indiana Max students are invited to participate in specialized programming designed to help them maximize their potential and take full advantage of the opportunities and resources available at º£½ÇÖ±²¥.

Through the program, students receive one-on-one mentorship and participate in programming focused on helping them successfully transition to college, build connections and thrive at º£½ÇÖ±²¥.

Indiana Max students also receive the following benefits:

  • Book assistance: Students living on campus receive a book voucher for required textbooks through the Hammes º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Bookstore.
  • Continued eligibility: To remain eligible for the Indiana Max program, students must complete the FAFSA by April 15, remain Pell Grant-eligible, and earn at least 30 credits each academic year.

Primary Goals of the Program

  • College Performance: Help students stay on track toward graduation through one-on-one meetings, academic support and regular grade check-ins.
  • College Engagement: Support a successful transition from high school to college through campus involvement and monthly workshops focused on building self-efficacy and leadership.
  • Career Preparation: Develop students’ career-ready skills and connect academic learning to real-world experiences through networking opportunities and career development.
