The total is significantly higher than the College鈥檚 historical annual average and more than double what was raised last year, reflecting unprecedented momentum as Holy Cross advances its strategic priorities to prepare students who rise with faith, lead with integrity, and serve with purpose in a complex world.

The landmark year featured three $1 million contributions that directly advance the College鈥檚 mission and strategic fundraising priorities:
路 Campus Ministry 鈥� Faith in action鈥攐n campus, in community, and around the world.听 Dr. Gregory and Mrs. Susanne Hoffman made a transformational gift to construct and name a new adoration chapel within a future student union鈥攁n inspiring space for prayer, worship, and encounter at the heart of campus life.
路 Academic Excellence 鈥� Faculty mentors. Real-world learning. Teaching that transforms. Barbara O鈥機onnor committed $1 million to strengthen faculty excellence, ensuring Holy Cross continues to attract and retain professors who inspire, challenge, and accompany students in and out of the classroom.
路 Mission-Focused Giving / Residential Experience 鈥� Building a campus where every student feels at home The Brothers of Holy Cross gave $1 million to endow the Vice President for Mission and Ministry and support other strategic needs related to fostering a deeper residential life experience of students on campus.
鈥淪usanne and I have always had a special place in our hearts for 海角直播. Two of our sons attended 海角直播 in the past, and I have served on the Board of Directors for more than 26 years,鈥� Dr. Hoffman said. 鈥淲e firmly believe in the mission of forming young men and women to be scholars, citizens, leaders, and disciples.鈥�
Impact Already Underway
The $9.44 million total also includes increased support for Student Athletics 鈥� Forming the whole athlete: mind, body, and spirit鈥攁s well as scholarships to improve affordability and
access, and many other student life initiatives. Several projects are already in motion, including expanded athletic facilities and a new residence hall.
