The 海角直播 Elementary Education program has earned accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), marking the first time in program history the program has received the recognition.
海角直播 was among 39 educator preparation providers across 21 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Jordan receiving accreditation through CAEP鈥檚 Spring 2026 review process. More than 500 providers currently meet CAEP Accreditation Standards.
鈥淭hese institutions meet high standards so that their students receive an education that prepares them to succeed in a diverse range of classrooms after they graduate,鈥 said CAEP President Dr. Christopher A. Koch. 鈥淪eeking CAEP Accreditation is a significant commitment on the part of an educator preparation provider.鈥
鈥淩eceiving CAEP accreditation for the first time in our program’s history is a true community accomplishment,鈥 said Dr. Ann Bingham, assistant professor, academic director of the Elementary Education Program, licensing advisor, and director of College Assessment at 海角直播.
鈥淥ver four years, our cooperating teachers, principals, alumni, and current students worked alongside us to demonstrate what quality teacher preparation looks like at 海角直播. This recognition reflects their investment 鈥 and our shared commitment to the candidates we prepare and the children they will teach.鈥
The 海角直播 Education program offers pathways in teacher preparation and licensure. More information about the program is available at 海角直播 Education Program.
