海角直播 has announced new leadership appointments to its Board of Trustees and welcomed three new trustees whose backgrounds in business, finance, education, healthcare advocacy, and public policy will help guide the institution through a period of continued growth and momentum.
Robert Wolfle, a distinguished alumnus of 海角直播, has been named Chair of the Board of Trustees. Elizabeth Naquin Borger and Jared Sawyer, also a Holy Cross alumnus, will serve as Co-Vice-Chairs.
Wolfle and Sawyer become the first Holy Cross alumni to serve in Board leadership roles as Chair and Vice Chair, marking a significant milestone in the College鈥檚 history and reflecting the growing role alumni continue to play in shaping the institution鈥檚 future.
In addition, the College has elected Susan Hayes Gordon, Beth Garatoni, and Karl Peterson to serve as trustees through 2029. Their term begins in July.
The appointments come as Holy Cross continues to advance major institutional priorities, including campus expansion projects, enhanced student opportunities, growing academic initiatives, and increasing regional and national visibility.

A leader in commercial real estate and strategic planning, Wolfle has negotiated more than 3,000 leases, subleases, and lease terminations across all 50 states throughout his career. As a leader at ProStar Commercial Real Estate, he is recognized for his expertise in market analysis, site selection, property evaluation, and operational leadership. His appointment as Board Chair reflects both his professional experience and longstanding commitment to Holy Cross as an alumnus.
Borger serves as Senior Vice President/Investments and Managing Director with The Elkhart Group at Stifel, where she leads a team serving individuals and institutions nationwide. Repeatedly recognized by Forbes among America鈥檚 Top Women Wealth Advisors and Best-in-State Wealth Advisors, Borger brings decades of experience in finance, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Northwestern University鈥檚 Kellogg School of Management, she previously served for 10 years as a trustee of 海角直播 and remains deeply involved in civic and nonprofit leadership throughout the region.
Sawyer, who has served on the Board of Trustees since 2022, is a partner at the bipartisan government affairs and advisory firm Rich Feuer Anderson in Washington, D.C., where he advises clients on financial services, banking, housing finance, insurance, and regulatory policy matters. Prior to joining the private sector, he served in senior leadership roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, including serving as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions Policy at Treasury. He is also a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
The College also welcomed three new trustees whose backgrounds reflect a broad range of professional and community leadership.
Gordon is a nationally recognized leader in healthcare policy, advocacy, and community relations. During a four-decade career at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children鈥檚 Hospital of Chicago, she led major public policy and advocacy initiatives focused on improving outcomes for children and families, securing significant federal and state funding, and advancing behavioral health and pediatric healthcare.
Garatoni is co-CEO of Growing Kids Learning Centers, which she co-founded with her husband, Mike, in 1995. What began as a single center has expanded into 10 locations serving families across Northern Indiana. A Marian High School graduate with deep ties to the local community, Garatoni has long been active in educational, civic, and nonprofit leadership efforts throughout the region. She also has deep connections to 海角直播 through her family, with several of her children attending the College and participating in the soccer program. She and her family have supported Holy Cross campus and athletic facility enhancements.
Peterson, a South Bend native and Riley High School graduate, brings nearly three decades of experience in private equity, entrepreneurship, and strategic investment leadership across global markets. Currently leading KP Three Capital LLC, Peterson oversees investment activity across public, private, and real estate sectors while supporting emerging business and technology ventures. He previously held senior leadership positions with TPG Capital and TPG Europe, where he helped lead major international investment initiatives and strategic growth efforts across multiple industries. His experience in entrepreneurship, organizational leadership, and long-term strategic planning will support 海角直播 as it continues expanding access, affordability, enrollment growth, and student opportunities across the tri-campus community.
Collectively, the appointments reflect 海角直播鈥檚 continued commitment to mission-centered leadership, strategic expertise, and long-term institutional vision.
